Arrive in Glasgow. Meet at Cook's Money Exchange Booth. Drive to Loch Lomond. Visit Inveraray Castle.
Overnight: Oban

Ferry crossing from Oban to Craignure on the Isle of Mull. Drive
across Mull to the ferry for the Island of Iona. See the shrine of St. Columba and the origins of Christianity in Scotland. Return to Oban.

September 29:
Drive to Glencoe Visitor Centre, the West Highland Museum and the ruins of Inverlochy Castle
Overnight: Fort William

September 30:
Western Isles tour as far as Mallaig fishing village,
featuring spectacular scenery, wildlife and history at Glenfinnan.
Overnight: Fort William

October 1:
Boat cruise from Fort Augustus on Loch Ness. See castles and beautiful scenery.
Overnight: Inverness

October 2:
Drive to the Cairngorm Mountains. Visit Aviemore and walk Abernethy Forest.
Overnight: Inverness

October 3:
Drive to the Isle of Skye via the Kyle of Lochalsh.
Overnight: Portree

October 4:
View the Benn Eighe Mountains on the way north to Lochinver.
Overnight: Lochinver

October 5:
Visit the Suilven area. Hike through part of the beautiful Inverpolly district.

Return to Inverness. Visit the site of the Battle of Culloden Moor and Clava Cairns.

Drive to Braemar and Balmoral Castle.
